• Turkish-American Business Council of DEIK The primary objective of the Business Council is to contribute to efforts to improve the environment for bilateral trade and industrial cooperation. • Turkish Coalition- Political Action Committee (TC-PAC) TC-USA PAC was established in February 2007 by citizens of both Turkish and non-Turkish heritage to support political candidates who are committed to the following:
• engaging in a meaningful dialogue with Turkish Americans on major issues affecting their lives • maintaining a strong US-Turkish relationship • advocating a balanced discussion on the global and regional issues that impact Turkey and US-Turkish relations.

•Turkish American Legal Defense Fund (TALDF) The initial mission of the Turkish American Legal Defense Fund (TALDF) is to provide legal advice and counsel to Turkish Americans regarding their constitutionally guaranteed right to free expression. The right attaches, in varying degrees, to public school textbooks and instruction; permits for demonstrations; and, the print, broadcast, and Internet media. Turkish Americans most frequently perceive a limitation of their freedom of expression when encountering one-sided depictions of controversial issues related to their ancestral history or current issues related to Turkey or Turkish Americans. •Turkish Cultural Foundation (TCF) The Turkish Cultural Foundation was established on January 1, 2000. The Foundation's main goals can be summarized as: 1. Promoting and preserving Turkish culture and heritage worldwide, through original programs and cooperation with like minded organizations. 2. Supporting education, particularly in the area of humanities, for disadvantaged students in Turkey. 3. Supporting research, documentation and publication in the humanities related to Turkey. 4. • Federation of Turkish-American Associations (FTAA) The Federation of Turkish American Associations, Inc., a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, was established in 1956 for the purpose of uniting and supporting the Turkish community within the United States. • Turkish American Cultural Association of Michigan (TACAM) Turkish American Cultural Association of Michigan, founded in 1972, follows the philosophy of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, founder of the Turkish Republic, who stated: "Culture is the foundation of the Turkish Republic." His view of culture encompassed the nation's creative legacy as well as the best values of world civilization. It stressed personal and universal humanism. "Culture," he said, "is a basic element in being a person worthy of humanity," and described Turkey's ideological thrust as "a creation of patriotism blended with a lofty humanist ideal." Thus, TACAM wants to instill this philosophy into all Turkish-Americans living in Michigan. The purpose of this association (TACAM) is to foster, promote, plan and execute programs aimed at improving the economic, social, educational, religious, general welfare and other humanitarian activities of the Turkish community in the State of Michigan and elsewhere.

Their efforts materialized and TAA-KC was founded in August of 1979. TAA-KC was subsequently incorporated as a not-for-profit organization by the State of Missouri in 1980, and continues its activities in this status to this day along the lines the founders envisaged.
